The business has taken a 10 year lease at Brockeridge Park. Why Brockeridge Park? Helyx is growing, and needed more space for its 30 strong consultancy staff. It had to be high quality accommodation, because of the nature of the business, and Helyx moves huge amounts of data, so excellent internet access was vital. Location was important too: “Our previous base was in Ledbury, and we needed to be nearer the motorway network. It’s so much quicker for us to reach our clients from here.” said Rick Mather, operations director. What’s the impression since moving in? As might be expected of such highly analytical beings as the Helyx management, their impressions since moving in have fully confirmed their research before moving in. The quality of the space suits the nature of the consultancy business, and clients like the easy accessibility as much as Helyx staff. And because of the sensitivity of some of its work, Helyx has had to install sophisticated physical and IT security systems. “We’ve done the work ourselves, but it was great to have the understanding and co-operation of the landlord,” said Mather. “The priorities for our move were for good quality office space, security for our systems and client data, and easy accessibility for our clients and staff.
